Online Board meetings do not exist yet, but could be useful. The online meeting can be available between the actual meetings. It will provide the public with the same options it has in a “normal” public meeting – meaning, it will enable people to suggest new ideas, complain about existing conditions, and comment about existing or future plans.
The online meeting will enable participants to see issues of common interest, and through an active discussion, learn about what’s happening in the community. In addition, online meetings will enable residents to be involved in the Community Board process at their own pace. Before the actual public hearing, the Board can collect all the information gathered and use it during the meeting.
