Several Community Boards use a spreadsheet sent to them directly from 311, by request. The spreadsheet includes a summary of complaints by location and status. Community Boards use this information for monitoring and solving problems.
According to the NYC 311 website: “In adherence to Local Law 47 of 2005, the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) issues monthly reports to the City Council, the Public Advocate, Community Boards, and the public about data collected by 311.”
This information is available for download here. However, it seems that not all Boards are aware of this option or know how to access it.
