Getting info from your Community Board is important, but the approaches they take are varied and not always effective.

Sharing information with the public is an important part of Community Boards’ work. Boards are required to announce public meetings, and they also make ongoing announcements related to projects, resolutions, publications and other news. Boards also need to communicate with members directly, to share materials ahead of committee meetings.

Some Community Boards use their websites to share information, others do not have a website, or send out informational packages to members in the mail.
